Privacy Statement
Effective June 1, 2026
This Privacy Statement explains what data Kordano Time collects, how we use and store it, and the choices you have. It applies to the Kordano Time web app and desktop apps.
Information We Collect
Kordano Time collects only the information needed to run time tracking, attendance, payroll, and workforce reporting for your organization. We group it into the categories described below.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.
Account & Contact Details
When you create an account we collect your name, business email, phone number, and password (stored only as a salted hash, never in plain text).
These details identify you, secure your sign-in, and let workspace admins manage their team.
Workspace & Company Data
We collect your company name, company size, team structure, roles, groups, and the workspace settings your admins configure.
This data scopes what each member, manager, and admin can see inside the product.
Time Tracking & Activity Data
When tracking is on, the desktop and web apps record work sessions: start and stop times, tracked durations, idle periods, and keyboard/mouse activity levels expressed as percentages.
Activity data is used to build timesheets, attendance, and payroll, and is always tied to the user and date it was recorded.
Screenshots & Activity Metadata
If, and only if, your workspace admin enables screenshots or activity capture, the app may store periodic screenshots and related metadata such as the active application or website title and the capture timestamp.
Capture cadence, blurring, and retention are controlled by your workspace settings. When the feature is disabled, no screenshots or activity metadata are captured.
Projects, Tasks & Reports
We store the projects, tasks, and notes you log time against, and we generate reports and exports (such as CSV and Excel) from that data.
Reports are visible only to authorized members, managers, and admins in your workspace.
Security & Storage
Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and stored on access-controlled infrastructure. Screenshots and files are kept in private object storage that is not publicly listable.
We apply least-privilege access controls and retain data only as long as your workspace settings and applicable law require.
Your Rights & Contact
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, subject to your organization's obligations as the data controller.
To exercise your rights or ask a privacy question, contact your workspace admin or email [email protected].
Updates & Effective Date
We may update this Privacy Statement as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with a new effective date.
Effective date: June 1, 2026.
